I found my calling the same week I found a cockle shell, with a small hole in its face, on a beach in Panama City. Ever since, I’ve embedded myself in the human story, like shells burrowed deep in the sand. Wildly devouring journalism, poetry, prose, cinema, and any kind of story I can get my hands on.
I am currently a Senior Publicist at Simon & Schuster, where I take an author’s vision for their book and help send it out to the world through media and events. I’ve worked on publicity campaigns for Bret Baier, Jenny Han, David Grann, Kristen Bell, Jennifer Niven, Neil Patrick Harris, Chris Colfer, the Dear Evan Hansen team, and Dave Eggers.
In my free time you can find me exploring different restaurants and coffee shops in New York City, watching terrible teen dramas like Cruel Intentions (yes, I’ve marathoned all three), and walking my corgi in DUMBO, Brooklyn. I’m typically drinking oat milk lattes at The Bean on 3rd Ave or eating ice cream on a street corner somewhere.
